This is the next page to tackle. It needs a wp form plugin. We may also need a dedicated enquiries email destination. Note there is some overlap with the default “Find us” static footer widget.
Activated the simple “Contact Form 7” plugin with default configuration on 7/04/2020. This is currently pointing to jkcouper@bigpond.com. Test successful.

Trying to add LinkedIn to the social menu. This is not available in the list for the 2020 theme; but is listed in the wp help. However there is no button to add a new item.
The interim solution is to alter the placeholder url for Yelp from http://yelp.com to https://www.linkedin.com and amend the name accordingly. This has successfully applied the LinkedIn icon and the link is working.

There is so much advice on the web to consume that it becomes difficult to get going with so many alternative themes and approaches.
We will persist with the WordPress site which is using the default 2020 basic theme.
Presently we need to concentrate on the composition of the Home page.

Login logout
So far so good. But there is one major thing missing and that is a login menu. While it is possible only to logout when logged in as admin, there is no functionality to login when the session is expired – apart from starting again with wp-admin.
We see on Google that there are plugins that can be uploaded to enable such. So this is the next task.

This should be shown at the top as it is a new day. Trying to get things organised in the Dashboard is not easy on mobile. Cant find how to organise pages and menu to my liking. esp the “About this site” and “Find us” widgets section which contains default address etc
